Over the past decades, a growing number of Americans now consider taking their vacations in tropical locations such as South America or South East Asia. Not only are these destinations cheap: They also offer a set of activities that are only available in those areas alone. However, going to these places, especially for the first time, requires a bit of preparation. On that note, business leader and travel enthusiast Gene Bernshtam shares a few helpful tips on traveling to the tropics for a vacation. While this provides more excitement than most urban activities, some people aren’t accustomed to the feel of riding a small boat. They get seasick.
