Health stands out as one of the reasons we need to travel. It is literally an escape from the daily grind, and the benefits are worth it. Traveling relaxes our mood, helps us feel better as we rediscover the world. Nobody wants a lifetime filled with stress, and develop heart ailments, soon after. And besides, being stuck in one place like an office space, for instance, is a sure invitation for depression and anxiety.

Culture is another reason we should really explore. Not only are we gonna try new and exotic dishes but, traveling develops a certain empathy within us, a deeper understanding of other culture as well. Sometimes it is best to experience culture first-hand, as we try to communicate with other people, gaining new insights in the process, which makes us more interesting as a person.

Food is definitely among the highest, if not the main, reason why we travel. Because no trip is ever complete without experiencing the taste of food from the places that we visit. More than the sights and smell of the place, there is nothing like the tales coming out of a person with a satisfied belly.
